Meeting of vintage firefighters

On this year’s Statehood Day, marking 35 years of Slovenia’s independence, we will celebrate in a very special way – with a gathering of vintage fire brigades, which will be a true feast for the eyes and a tribute to tradition.

In one place, visitors will be able to see more than 25 manual fire pumps and over 10 motorized pumps, showcasing the technical progress and dedication of generations of firefighters over the decades.

The event will also feature children’s workshops, where the youngest visitors can learn about firefighting heritage through play, as well as an antiques fair and a book fair for all lovers of history, collecting, and good stories.

To top it all off, the event will conclude with a performance by the group Lisjaki, ensuring a truly festive atmosphere.
