Living with Nature Outdoor Festival will take place from 5 to 7 June 2026 at the Park of Military History, bringing together nature enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and everyone seeking authentic experiences.

On Saturday, 6 June, the Pivka Tourism Institute will join the festival programme with guided tours, walks, and a cycling excursion, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the secrets of large carnivores, seasonal lakes, and the rich natural heritage of the Pivka region.

Cycling Excursion among the Pivka Lakes

Together with an experienced cycling guide, you will explore the scenic karst landscape of the Pivka Seasonal Lakes Landscape Park. Following a network of gravel roads and forest tracks, you will discover the unique natural phenomenon of disappearing and reappearing lakes, learn about the characteristics of the karst environment, and explore the area's rich natural and cultural heritage.

The route leads through forests and meadows, offering peaceful moments in unspoilt nature and beautiful views of the seasonal lakes of Pivka.

  • Price: €14.00 per adult, €12.00 for children aged 10–15
  • Recommended age: 10 years and above

Required Equipment

Participants must bring:

A technically sound mountain bike or trekking bike with treaded tyres (electric bikes are also welcome) A cycling helmet Suitable sports clothing and footwear A spare inner tube Sufficient drinking water

Participation is at your own risk. Participants under the age of 18 may only join the activity when accompanied by an adult.

The activities are open to both Living with Nature Outdoor Festival participants and the general public. As the number of places is limited, early registration is highly recommended.
