Walk with a Hunter - Outdoor festival 2026

Living with Nature Outdoor Festival will take place from 5 to 7 June 2026 at the Park of Military History, bringing together nature enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and everyone seeking authentic experiences.

On Saturday, 6 June, the Pivka Tourism Institute will join the festival programme with guided tours, walks, and a cycling excursion, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the secrets of large carnivores, seasonal lakes, and the rich natural heritage of Pivka.

Walk with a Hunter

• Starting point: Krpan's Home Pivka, Prečna ulica 1, Pivka

Accompanied by a local hunter, you will venture into the forest and gain first-hand insight into the biology of hoofed game species that inhabit our woodlands. Through this immersive experience, you will learn how to observe nature by interpreting animal tracks and signs.

During the guided walk, you will examine antlers of roe deer and red deer of different ages, identify footprints, fur, bones, and other traces of wildlife, and work together with the hunter to interpret the stories that nature reveals through these signs.

The activities are open to both Living with Nature Outdoor Festival participants and the general public. As the number of places is limited, early registration is highly recommended.
