33rd Furman Festival, Postojna

All-day programme (from 10:00 onwards):

• Horse riding and carriage rides accompanied by traditional teamsters' music

10:00 – Diatonic Accordion Competition for the Postojna Cave Cup 2026

10:30 – Performance by the Rakek Folklore Group at the square in front of Postojna Cave

11:00 – Presentation of vintage vehicles by the Oldtimer Club Postojna

11:00 – Traditional spirit distilling demonstration with complimentary tasting

12:30 – Announcement of the Diatonic Accordion Competition winners

13:30 – Announcement of the Hunters' Goulash Cooking Competition winners

13:30 – Performance by the Rakek Folklore Group at the square in front of Postojna Cave

14:00 – Presentation of Karst Shepherd Dogs by Miliruj Kennel

15:00 – Performance by the Štorske Mlekarice and the vocal group Štorovke

16:00 – FURMAN PARADE

From the Supernova Mercator Postojna car park to the main venue at Postojna Cave Park.

The parade will feature horsemen from the Notranjska, Dolenjska, Gorenjska, Karst, Štajerska and Istria regions, accompanied by the Postojna Wind Band 1808 and the Franc Žiberna Povir Majorettes.

16:00 – Presentation of the most interesting horse-drawn wagons and teamsters, hosted by Marjana Grčman

17:30 – Awards ceremony for the most original wagon

18:30 – Evening entertainment with the folk music ensemble Akordi, featuring special guests Nuša & Silvo Pliberšek

20:30 – Concert by the local rock band Fair Play

Enjoy a free shuttle bus between Primorka Car Park and Postojna Cave Park:

• 10:00–14:30
• 16:30–22:00

Buses depart every 20 minutes.

Admission is free!

In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday, 12 July 2026.
