Lipizzaner Lodge is the perfect spot to rent a regular mountain bike or an E bike and choose from a selection of epic loops exploring the wonders of the Green Karst.

Choose from short, medium or longer trips in the mountains, along endless forest tracks, to Disappearing Lakes, village hopping and also maybe include Predjama Castle or the Postojna Cave into your adventure too.. if you like!

We can even create a special route just for you, depending on what terrain you would like to bike through today, but most guests enjoy a little bit of everything that is wonderful about the Green Karst!

We use E Bikes maintained and serviced by Rockvelo, one of the top E Bike rental companies in Slovenia from the nearby Vipava Valley, who also offer a guided option from the Lodge for guests to bike up over Nanos, dropping into the Mediterranean Vipava Valley with transport back home for tea!
