Rakov Škocjan

Rakov Škocjan is a Karst valley which was formed with the collapse of a cave ceiling that left behind one of the most beautiful nature parks in Slovenia. The Rak River meanders across the entire valley, running under the Little and Big Natural Bridge and creating a unique landscape for nature photography. A nature education trail winds through Rakov Škocjan and takes you to the most interesting parts of the valley in 4 hours. Two of the most fascinating points of interest are the Big and Little Natural Bridge, which stand at the height of a 12-storey building above the valley floor and offer breathtaking views of the valley of the Rak River.
