Snežnik Trail - Steps Between the Sea and the Hills

Rugged terrain with long climbs and descents offers unforgettable views that, on clear days, stretch all the way to the Kvarner Gulf. This is a place where borders disappear and nature takes center stage. Snežnik Trails brings together runners from different countries, united by a love of movement, wilderness exploration, and an authentic trail-running community. The start and finish area is located at Črne njive, and besides the races, the event also features a guided hike, children’s runs, and an accompanying program with local food and experiences for all generations. An excellent choice for anyone seeking a wilder, forest-based trail experience — surrounded by untouched nature.

The start and finish of all routes are at Črne njive. Distances of 10, 17, 33, and 65 km are available. All routes award ITRA points, while Kozlek Trail and Snežnik Trail also provide UTMB points. Free parking and camping on the day of the event are provided for participants and supporters. The program also includes a guided hike, youth races, children’s entertainment, and local culinary offerings.
