Become a Blacksmith for a Day
Step up to the forge, take the hammer in your hand, and create something of your own from a piece of steel. Under the guidance of an experienced blacksmith, you will make a knife or an axe. For a charming introduction to the world of blacksmithing, you can also choose to create a forged heart or a lucky horseshoe.
In the forge, you will learn traditional techniques of shaping red-hot steel, grinding, and hardening, and you will try the work yourself. The experience combines the power of fire and hammer blows with the precision, patience, and knowledge required by the blacksmith’s craft.
The experience is suitable for complete beginners as well as for those who already have some experience and want to build on their skills. After up to eight hours in the forge, you will leave with a product that is not just a souvenir, but a completely personal object made with your own hands.

- Number of participants: Up to 3 people; for groups and schools, up to 10 people by arrangement

- Equipment: Protective equipment is provided on site; your own work clothes and suitable footwear are recommended
