Relaxation in the Apiary
Imagine complete tranquillity, accompanied only by the gentle hum of bees. Discover the soothing world of apitherapy at the Slavec Farm’s educational apiary. Gain an insight into the lives of bees, the work of a beekeeper and the flavours of hive products.
The apiary is home to 24 beehives and has been specially designed to allow visitors to observe the beekeeper at work through a glass viewing area. You’ll see the bees inside the hives and how they go in and out, while learning about their role on the farm and the wide range of products they provide – from blossom, lime, acacia and forest honey to bee pollen, propolis and candles made from natural beeswax.
The highlight of the experience is a relaxing apitherapy session in the apiary, surrounded by the natural aerosols released from the hives and the calming sound of thousands of bees. Two massage chairs make this a perfect experience for couples seeking to unwind and enjoy an hour of perfect relaxation.
