Brown Bear Watching
Imagine an evening in the forest as daylight slowly fades and you wait quietly in an observation hide for signs of wildlife. Brown bear watching is an unforgettable experience that combines excitement with a deep respect for nature and its inhabitants.
The experience begins in Postojna approximately two hours before sunset. Accompanied by an experienced local guide and hunter, you’ll travel to a forest observation hide, where you’ll learn about the life and behaviour of the brown bear. After sunset, the group returns to Postojna.
BE AROUND ME is a holder of the Bear Friendly certification, ensuring that every experience is conducted responsibly, in small groups and with minimal disturbance to the animals. As with all wildlife encounters, sightings can never be guaranteed. This uncertainty is part of the experience itself – in the forest, nature always follows its own rhythms.
