Join a guided exploration of Pivka. Discover the town’s natural and cultural heritage and its lesser-known stories with a notebook in hand. Expect playful challenges that encourage you to look more closely at your surroundings and participate in a group.
With a guide leading the way, Pivka reveals stories and details that are easily overlooked on an ordinary walk. Visit the birthplace of Ludovika Kalan and read one of her poems, follow mountain trail markings, learn the difference between the small-leaved lime and the large-leaved lime, and even stop at the ŽIVA wastewater treatment plant to discover the story behind its name.
Throughout the walk, various engaging tasks encourage teamwork. Traditional children’s games add a nostalgic touch, while the programme is adapted to the age and interests of each group. The route is also accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
