EXPO Cave Karst
The largest exhibition on karst and Postojna Cave takes you into the history of one of the most famous caves in the world in a modern and interactive way. The exhibition explains how nature has shaped a unique underground world and why Postojna Cave is one of the most visited karst caves in the world.
Special attention is paid to children, who are guided through the exhibition by the olm and the narrow-necked blind cave beetle, and they can try their hand at riding a real cave train.
A visit includes a free tour of the exhibition Life within a Billion of Years with an overview of the Earth's geological epochs from its formation to the present day, as well as the exhibition Butterflies of the World.
The tour is not guided, but you can use the Expo Postojna mobile app (in Slovenian and Italian).
The exhibition is also accessible for people with disabilities.
