Pivka Cave
Enter the underground world by descending into a deep chasm. 317 steps lead you 65 metres deep into the cave, which was formed by the Pivka river. The unusual entrance to the cave is right next to the restaurant at the Pivka jama campsite. There is a 2-kilometre-long trail for sightseeing tour.
It leads along the Pivka river towards Black Cave, followed by an exit to the surface and a return through the forest. In the cave with a canyon-like riverbed of the Pivka river at several sections, you will discover chambers with speleothems and a flowstone waterfall. In the last part of the trail, a tunnel opens, connecting this cave with the neighbouring Black Cave. Adventure tours of both caves are available.
In addition to the usual tour, you can choose from special arrangements – from trekking to guided adrenaline tours.
