Stara Dama (the Old Lady) Museum

The War Collection sheds light on World War I when Postojna was an important military centre with the headquarters of the commander of the famous Soča Front. The Hunting Collection shows the tradition of hunting in the Green Karst – from dormouse hunting to hunting with rifles. A special place is reserved for the fauna of the Slovenian forests. There are also hunting stands, traps and items that testify to the life of hunters through time.

You can relax by treating yourself with a cup of coffee or buy a nice souvenir in the museum or in front of it.

Entrance to the museum is included in the ticket for Predjama Castle.
