MiG-21 Flight Simulator
Ever wondered what it feels like to sit in the cockpit of a legendary fighter jet? At the Park of Military History in Pivka, you can take the controls of a MiG-21 flight simulator and experience the thrill of flying one of the most iconic military aircraft of the second half of the 20th century.
The MiG-21 was one of the world’s most widely used fighter-interceptor aircraft, serving in the air forces of more than 50 countries, including the former Yugoslavia. The simulator places you in an original MiG-21bis pilot’s seat, where you’ll operate the aircraft using authentic flight controls.
Using virtual reality technology, the simulator provides a 360-degree view of the cockpit and the surrounding airspace. Look around naturally to check the instruments, monitor the control surfaces, scan the horizon or glance back towards the wings. The experience takes place in the licensed Digital Combat Simulator environment and is supervised by an instructor.
