The interior of the submarine P-913 Zeta

Experience the world of submariners! Enter one of the most attractive exhibits of the Park of Military History. Yugoslav commando-type submarine P-913 Zeta was built in 1985 as one of six so-called pocket submarines designed to transport and support combat divers. Her mission was to manoeuvre silently and quickly in coastal waters, making her one of the outstanding achievements of 20th century military technology.

The tour of the interior of the submarine is guided and, for security reasons, follows a strict protocol. In the tight space you experience the life of a submarine crew, four of whom were in charge of the vessel's operations, accompanied by up to six commandos in full combat gear. The submarine, 19.7m long and weighing 76 tonnes, was able to submerge to a depth of 105 metres, or even 182m in extreme cases. The submarine P-913 Zeta is an outstanding example of military technical heritage and at the same time a monument to the Slovenian technical industry, which was involved in its production, and to generations of Slovenian submariners.

Timetable – according to the schedule of the Park of Military History, but with a mandatory advance notice!

Guided tours of the interior of the submarine are available by prior reservation and at an additional cost, and are conducted in small groups according to a pre-arranged schedule.
