Circular Trail of Military History
Embark on a 15-kilometre Circular Trail of Military History connecting the Park of Military History in Pivka, the underground fortress of the Alpine Wall at Primož, the scenic Šilentabor above Zagorje and the village of Narin. Along the way, you'll discover stories from World War I and World War II, the mysterious tunnels of the Alpine Wall and enjoy views that stretch far across the Pivka Basin.
If you don't have time for the whole trail, you can opt for a shorter ascent – to the Fortress on Primož (45 minutes) or to Šilentabor (1 hour). The trail is marked and equipped with information boards that show you the natural and historical features of these places.
The experience is the perfect combination of history, nature and local stories. You can help yourself along the way with a leaflet.
